An ornamental plant with edible fruits
The Royal Black is a beautiful ornamental chilli plant, the stems and leaves present dark purple, the underside are green with purple vein.
The fruits appear purple/black colour before ripening, and then turn from orange to red while fully matured, oval-shaped pods are 4cm long and 1cm wide approx.
In addition, the upright and fiery hot peppers are also edible and suitable for salsas, sauces and pickling.
