A spontaneous and mysterious variety from a domestic garden
The Pimenta De Neyde was first discovered in a garden of Mrs Neyde Hidalgo in Brazil.
It is a nature hybrid between Capsicum Chinense and Capsicum Annuum.
The leaves and fruits of this mysterious cross have a dark purple appearance and remain purple coloured when they are ripe.
The plants can grow up to 1.5 meters tall and the size of pods can be 5-6 cm long.
The Pimenta De Neyde has an aromatic taste with high heat!!
