en mass in a shady situation together with bluebells will make a spectacular sight.The plant has many country names. In Wales it is the Snakes Flower and in Somerset Adders Flower. The Manx name for the Campion is blee-ferish or Faries Flower. Other local names include Cock Robin, Red Robin Hood, Robin-run-in-the hedge, Soldiers Buttons, Johnny Woods, Devils Flower, Cuckoo Flower, Billy Buttons.
NATURALISING
Th Red Campion will naturalise quickly in damp woodland.
