The Aji Amarillo is Capsicum Baccatum variety from Peru which can get very large up to 2 metres with good care.
This variety is easy to grow, suitable for chilli newcomers.
The fruits are elongated shape with smooth surface, ripen from green to dark yellow orange, can reach 8-10cm long.
They have an aromatic fruity tast with medium heat, suitable for fruity salsas and sauces. Traditionally used for South American specialty dishes Ceviche and Anticuchos.
